 Summer

Summer is fantastic - family fun for everyone. Boating, swimming, sailing, kayaking, rock hunting, and fishing for salmon, perch, herring, trout, northern pike & bass.

Our 4th of July Celebration offers a large and colorful parade, phenomenal fireworks over Cedarville Bay, Arts and Crafts Fair, music and dancing on the waterfront, kids games and much more!

Salmon fishing is some of the best on the Great Lakes, and the annual Slammin' Salmon fishing tournament offers all ages the opportunity to be a winner.

The Les Cheneaux Antique Wooden Boat Show and Festival of Arts in Hessel is one of the biggest in the nation, bringing thousands of wooden boat lovers to the area.
 Fall

Art in the Park and other area activities are planned for Labor Day Weekend to celebrate the final long weekend of summer.

While enjoying Labor Day weekend in Les Cheneaux, participate in the annual Mackinac Bridge Walk with the Governor of Michigan and an estimated 60,000 people.

It's Fair Season, and the annual Chippewa County and Stalwart fairs are held in nearby communities.

Leaves begin changing color in our woodlands and forests-- a drive through our countryside will take your breath away!

Hunters return to their camps, with the hopes of great success in hunting waterfowl, turkey, partridge, rabbit and deer.
 Winter

The quiet time. Cross-country ski, snow shoe and snowmobile trails are open, so you can get a glimpse of winter wildlife and birds.

It's now time to walk the woods in those snowshoes and cross-country skies.

Snowmobiling trails and an award-winning bridge to safely cross over I-75 onto Mackinac trails that will take you on a day trip to visit our neighbors in St. Ignace, Trout Lake and Newberry.

Maybe you want to open up your snowmobile across open fields on a day trip to Pickford, Kinross and Sault Ste. Marie, or through the woods to DeTour and Drummond Island.
