Thursday, February 12
8 a.m.: Pike and Perch Fishing Contest Begins (sponsored by Islands Wildlife & Les Cheneaux Chamber of Commerce) through dark on Sunday, Feb. 15. Cash prizes for top three fish in adult and youth divisions, with $100 Grand Prize in adult division for largest pike and perch. $10 adult & $5 kids registration fee. Must register before fishing. Register and measure fish at Cedar Pantry and Hessel Grocery. Winners will be notified by phone on Monday Feb. 16.
4:30 pm - Cardboard Box Sled Races – “Love is in the Air” themed sleds encouraged. At the school sledding hill, at Les Cheneaux Community Schools – use elementary parking lot on Hilltop Drive. ALL ages welcome. Registration from 4:30-5 pm. Racing starts at 5 pm.
Friday, February 13
4-7 pm: Winter Indoor Market at Cedarville Lodge, on M-134 Cedarville. Various vendors will sell their goods inside the conference room at the Lodge. Free admission through the Cedarville Lodge lobby. To sign up as a vendor, call the Lodge at 906.484.2266.
5 pm: Snow Statue and Snow Buddy Judging – Must be registered by 4 p.m. to be judged. Register by calling 484-3935 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. NO window judging – sorry.
1 to 6 pm: Les Cheneaux Community Library Book Sale at the Library on Hodeck Street, Cedarville.
5 pm through Friday evening: Snowsfest Pub Shuffle – visit Bumpa’s, Cattail’s Cove, Hessel Kewadin Casino, Islander Bar, Runway, and Snow’s Bar & Grill to vote on your favorite bar. Ballots are available at each establishment. Must visit all establishments and complete entire ballot for votes to be counted. Themed costumes encouraged! Some establishments close earlier—visit Bumpas’ before 10 pm and Kewadin before 11 pm.
5-7 pm: Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser at Les Cheneaux Community Schools cafeteria, Cedarville. All proceeds support the Cedarville High School and Middle School music program. $6 for adults and $3 for kids 10 and younger.
Saturday, February 14
7:30 to 11 am: Pancake and Sausage Breakfast – at Les Cheneaux Community Schools cafeteria. Served by Les Cheneaux Snowmobile Club.
8:00 am: BLIZZARD RACE & KID’S KITTY CAT/120 MINI Z RACES – all at Taylor’s Pit, just north of Cedarville off M-129. Turn east into the driveway to Taylor’s Pit. Entrance will be marked. $10 at the gate for a whole day of racing! Registration for ALL races at Taylor’s Pit in the registration tent.
11 a.m.: Ceremonial Snowman Burning & Blessing of Snowsfest – Cedarville Bay downtown waterfront park
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Les Cheneaux Winter Makers Market Arts and Crafts Show at the Clark Township Community Center, Cedarville
10 a.m. to 3 p.m: Les Cheneaux Community Library Book Sale continues at the Library on Hodeck Street, Cedarville.
11 a.m to 2 p.m.: Hot Dogs and Hot Drinks Concession in the Snowsfest Warm-up Tent in downtown Cedarville.
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Horse Drawn Hay Rides - free with your Snowsfest button, but donations and tips are welcome!
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Chili Cook Off: Commercial and Individual divisions. Chili entries must be at the tent between 10:30 am and 11 am. Free entry for cook-off contestants. Tasters buy tickets to vote for favorite chili! Sponsored by First National Bank, Les Cheneaux Branch.
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Poker Run Registration in the Snowsfest Tent, downtown Cedarville.
Noon to 2 p.m.: Leader Dogs & Puppies in Training - meet adorable service dogs and puppies in training to be Leader Dogs for the Blind! At side tent next to main Snowsfest tent.
Noon: Kids Games and bouncy house at the Snowsfest Tent, sponsored by Carmeuse Lime & Stone.
2 p.m.: Dog Show – Best trick, best costume and best mastery of the obstacle course.
2:30 p.m.: Emergency Ice Rescue demonstration – Clark Township Emergency Services, on the Cedarville Bay ice.
3:00 p.m.: Snowshoe Hike at J.A. Woollam Preserve, 7 miles East of Cedarville. Parking area on south side of M-134, enter at green “Welcome” sign. Led by a Nature Conservancy naturalist.
5 p.m to 7 p.m: Poker Run Ends at Bumpas’ on Hodeck Street, downtown Cedarville. Awards to follow.
8 PM: SKY LANTERN LAUNCH OVER CEDARVILLE BAY – AT MARINA AREA. Donations appreciated.
Sunday, February 15
10-10:45 am: Register for the Frosty 5k Run or Walk and 10K Run will start and end at Cattail’s Cove, downtown Cedarville. Proceeds are fundraiser for the Cedarville Trojan Booster Club and Snowsfest. Prize for the best “Love is in the Air.” Race begins at 11 am! $20 entry fee includes lunch and a special participant prize!
Noon to Dusk: Les Cheneaux Sportsman’s Club Open Shoot - do not have to be a member to shoot. At Sportsman’s Club east of Cedarville, on M-134. (weather dependent)
Noon to 12:30 p.m.: Ice Hole Two Person Golf Scramble Registration at the Islander Bar, Hessel. Shotgun Start @ 1:00 PM on Hessel Bay. Followed by awards at the Islander Bar. $20 Registration with your Snowsfest Button, Great Prizes Awarded!
3 pm: Winter Wonderland Dog Walk - join us for a fun, informal winter dog walk. Goody bags for your pets, hot beverages and great dog socialization. Meet at the Snowsfest tent in downtown Cedarville. Please walk dogs on leashes. Donations to the Mackinac Co. Friends of the Animals are welcome!

Drawing for the Snowsfest Raffle at the Les Cheneaux Welcome Center, 5 pm, Cedarville.
