Les Cheneaux Islands Art Gallery displays the works of Hessel native, Diana J. Grenier, as well as a selection of other local artists. Original art is available as limited edition prints, framed and ready to hang in your home, business or cottage, as well as in notecards and 'fridge magnets.
Diana's work has been used as the official Les Cheneaux Islands Antique Wooden Boat Show poster for many years, and all of our posters are in stock and framed. Other gift items available in the gallery include Les Cheneaux Islands themed etched glassware, painted furniture and clever decorative art objects.
Up North Studio is the creative space where much of the art displayed in our gallery is produced. Up North Studio is also where John Grenier makes traditional hand-lettered signs. Up North Studio is where the original "Les Cheneaux Islands" car window stickers are made.
Open May through September, Tuesday to Sunday, when the open sign is on.
