Located in the pristine fresh waters along the northern shores of the Straits Of Mackinac, Breezeswept has provided traditional timber Boat Docks & Boathouses for two generations. Breezeswept is a dock building & marine contracting company qualified to construct new timber boat docks and restore existing docks. In addition, we can custom build a beautiful boathouse to fulfill all your needs!

Docks & seawalls are constructed with environment friendly northern white cedar logs and pilings. Natural limestone is used for fill. Above water planking may be either northern cedar or treated southern yellow pine decking.

Boathouses are owner designed, and constructed of top quality materials. Unique character is the prerequisite - to aesthetically blend with the many historic boathouses within these islands.

Boathouses and Docks may include: boat hoists for winter boat storage, outdoor recreation centers with tables & benches, swim ladders and hot water showers, water faucets for vessel washdown, low level louvered dock lighting with electrical outlets, fish cleaning tables, and timber flagpoles.

Breezeswept also provides shoring stone, beach sand, dredging, vessel salvage, fire & marine rescue assistance, and barge transport of building materials to the islands.

Docks are built to withstand the “winds & waves of time.” Extra timbers are installed, as protection against winter ice.
