Historic boat restoration and maintenance business on Cedarville Bay, specializing in the care of antique wooden boats. Tassier Boat Works is a full service marina for boats up to 30 feet. Tassier's provides restoration, maintenance, mechanical services, dockage, fuel, and a ships store with a large selection of marine paints and hardware appropriate for wooden boats.

Seasonal dockage is available outside or covered in one of three boathouses on site. Seasonal maintenance is offered including commissioining, de-commissioining and inside winter storage.

Mechanical services include full gas engine capabilities, drive systems and electronics.


Summer hours are: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm; Saturdays, 9 am to 4:30 pm and closed Sundays.

Winter hours are: Monday through Friday, 8 am through 5 pm; closed Saturday and Sunday.

The Nature Conservancy has protected more than 370,000 acres throughout Michigan and more than 3,000 acres in the Les Cheneaux area. The Les Cheneaux area features one of the Conservancy's largest preserves, the Carl A. Gerstacker Nature Preserve at Dudley Bay, which offers a rich tapestry of intertwined habitats that provide shelter to endangered and threatened plant species and a variety of animals. The preserve is open to visitors for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing, bird watching, swimming, and deer hunting by permit. The Nature Conservancy is a nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) organization.

Stunning, very private setting is an ideal getaway for families and outdoor enthusiasts in all seasons. The main cottage includes a large living room with wood burning fireplace, full service kitchen, dining area, master bedroom, bathroom, and bunk room.  The bunkhouse is located in the woods behind the main cottage and includes two sets of bunkbeds with pull-out trundles (6 beds total), a game table and chairs, 1/2 bath and cable TV.  Both the main cottage and bunkhouse are heated for year-round use.
