Tri County Builders

Tri County Building Centers traces its roots back to 1960, when Frank H. Taylor III established Taylor Lumber Company in Cedarville, the area's first lumber yard, growing it into a network of building centers throughout the Eastern Upper Peninsula. When Taylor retired in 2004, he passed ownership to longtime employee Brien Hanna, who has since expanded the business to six locations across Cedarville, St. Ignace, Pickford, Detour, Paradise, and Sault Ste. Marie. Today, Tri County provides building supplies, lumber, and materials for everything from cottages and island homes to commercial and institutional projects throughout the region.
